panto Phil Walker in Dick Whittington last year
IT may be early to be getting in the Christmas spirit but details of two of East Lancashire’s most popular festive shows have been announced.
The area’s biggest family pantomime at King George’s Hall, Blackburn, will see children’s favourite Phil Walker returning once again this time to star in Mother Goose And The Magical Circus.
The spectacular show will be produced by Stageworks, the company based at Blackpool Pleasure Beach renowned for its impressive visual effects and colourful dance routines.
Also returning to Blackburn will be Madame Galina, the ballet dancing dame who was such a hit in Dick Whittington at Christmas.
Mother Goose will begin with schools’ performances from Wednesday, December 12 with the final show on Monday, December 31.
Also announced this week, the panto at Darwen Library Theatre will be Snow White And The Seven Dwarves from PMA Productions from Friday, December 14 until Christmas Eve.
Tickets for both shows are on sale. Contact King George’s Hall box office on 0844 847 1664 or Darwen Library Theatre on 01254 706006.
