ONE of the pioneers of the UK dance scene, legendary DJ Graeme Park, will be in Blackburn tomorrow night recreating the days of famous Hacienda.

Graeme, one of the original DJs at the famous Manchester club, will headline a special Late Shift night at Blakey’s in the King George’s Hall complex.

Also taking to the decks tomorrow will be Blackburn DJ Tony Cannon.

“To be playing with Graeme is something special,” said Tony, who was a regular on the Blackburn club scene with residencies at Minstrel’s and C’est La Vie during the heyday of house music in the Nineties.

Now one half of the successful duo 24House, Tony is also a producer.

“I would go over to Manchester just to see Graeme at the Hacienda,” said Tony.

“He was one of the true pioneers. He would play some fantastic records but you wouldn’t hear anywhere else for months. It will be fantastic to work with him.”

The night starts at 10pm.

Admission is £10 in advance from the box office on 0844 847 1664.
