After a successful visit to Chorley last year, one of the Army’s top bands is returning to Chorley Town Hall on Sunday, October 14.

The Royal Gibraltar Regiment Band, along with their Corps of Pipes and Drums, is coming back to the UK – Chorley will be their only appearance outside London and the South East of England.

A fundraiser for the Chorley Remembers project, monies raised will go towards a brand new and permanent ‘Remembrance Experience’ exhibition at the Astley Hall complex in the town, due to open in early 2013.

Tickets, priced £10 for adults and £7.50 for senior citizens and students, are on sale at Malcolm’s Musicland, Chapel Street, Chorley or from the organisers on 01254 854298.

Organiser Steve Williams said: “More than two hundred people came last year and all went away saying that the band were excellent. We have three hundred tickets available this year and hope to make it a sell out.”
