Rock 'n' roll classics at the community centre
1:11pm Wednesday 11th July 2012 in What's on in Lancashire
Chorley Community Centre in Railway Street will be rockin’ and a’ rollin’ to the sound of Adlington’s Mr P and the Bensons and Chorley’s Too Old To Be Told next week.
The concert on Friday, July 20, at 7.30pm promises virtuoso performances from the two popular local bands.
You can dance in the aisles or just enjoy the nostalgic sounds from these two talented and experienced bands, while sipping drinks from the licensed bar.
Adlington’s Mr P and the Bensons are experienced musicians who belt out a range of classics while Too Old To Be Told feature Alan and Rita Waring of the famous Blue Water Folk.
Tickets are £6 from Town and Village Estate Agents, Fazakerley Street, or call Cathy on 01257 410297. Proceeds go to The Arts Partnership to fund classes for people with learning difficulties.
