A NEW theatrical production recreating the art and tradition of Burlesque is coming to Burnley Mechanics.
An Evening Of Burlesque is the only national touring production, which gives the art a modern-day twist, with music, song and dance — including the famous fan dances — at regional theatres.
The showgirls combine ‘Parisian charm with Las Vegas glamour compered by Kiki Kaboom, with top Brit burlesque talent including Miss Hotcake Kitty, Amber Topaz, Chrys Columbine, Miss Slinky Sparkles, Ginger Blush and the Kalki Hula Girl.
Producer Michael Taylor said: “The show combines comedy, magic and vocal harmony with couture costumes, breathtaking choreography and a fabulous score, An Evening Of Burlesque playfully takes audiences from its music hall roots to the present day in the ultimate tease.”
