A CHILDREN'S charity is looking for donations towards its annual fun day.
Crawshawbooth Family Fun Day, which raises money for disadvantaged children in the Rossendale Valley, will take place on July 9 from 11am until 5pm. The event has been organised by children's charity Kids in Rossendale, who are appealing to the public for donations to add to the events raffle and tombola prizes. The day will feature a host of activities, including a climbing wall, archery and a bungee run as well as games and entertainment.
Paula Riley, co-founder of Kids In Rossendale said: “The money we raise at the fun day helps to change the lives of children in Rossendale.
"It means children who might otherwise miss out can receive small grants to help cover the cost of things like Scout and Brownie trips, swimming lessons or sports equipment".
