TICKETS are now limited availability for performances of The Crucible later this month.
The Burnley-based Garrick theatre company is staging the Arthur Miller classic at the ACE Centre from Tuesday to Saturday March 25 to 29 – the opening night being an extra date in response to demand.
The popular work regularly features as an official exam text, and the company has promoted the production to schools and colleges. Secretary David Lewis said: “There is, I understand, only limited availability for seats on several nights so the advice is to book now whilst there are seats available.”
The play is described as ‘part gripping historical drama, part frightening parable of contemporary society’.
Its story centres on the mass-hysteria which surrounded the Salem Witchcraft Trials of 1692.
Tickets cost £9, or £6 for students and under 16s from the ACE Centre on 01282 661080.
