ONE of Lancashire’s most talked about festivals — Cloudspotting — returns in July with a brand new venue and an eclectic line-up, including Michael Chapman, Clinic, Glasgow rapper Jonnie Common, Colorama and Ramsbottom ensemble Harp and a Monkey.

Liverpool experimentalists Clinic headline the opening night and festival co-organiser Matt Evans said: “Cloudspotting is a family-friendly festival without compromising on an inventive and innovative live music programme.”

Based at the Aspinall Arms, near Whalley, last year, Cloudspotting has moved to a new location in the Forest of Bowland, close to Slaidburn.

The festival runs from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28. Weekend tickets are £70 with under-16s free.
