The cast of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
A TRADITIONAL pantomime for all the family opens at Sion Baptist Church, Burnley, tonight.
The Sion Pantomime Society returns to the stage to tell James Barry’s version of the classic fairytale Snow White And The Seven Dwarves, until Saturday.
Rev Jo Williams, who is directing the show, said: “It is a traditional pantomime, with all the cast and crew members coming from the church and its congregation.
“It will be great fun for all the family.”
Children from the congregation will play the seven dwarves, with Sion favourite Gordon Tattersall as Dame Clarissa. Snow White is being played by Sophie Layfield and Prince Valiant by Amy Tattersall, with Marcia Turner as the evil Queen Evilynn.
Performances take place at 7.15pm, with a Saturday matinee show at 2.30pm. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for children, with concessions available for Thursday’s show. Call 01282 453295 to book.
