Get set for a funky New Year in Clitheroe

HAVING sold out the Grand recently, top Northern Soul and R&B outfit Rambunkshus return to Clitheroe for a special New Year’s Eve show.

The six-piece band with members from Clitheroe, Blackburn and Bury have built up an enthusiastic following on the scene for their authentic ’60s sound.

They will be headlining the free Soul Lang Syne event at the King’s Arms which will also feature sets from Northern Soul DJs and a buffet.

Drummer Dec Sanderson said: “We are looking forward to rounding off the year at the King's Arms and invite local people to join us for what promises to be a great night.

“The pub is under new management and we are delighted that Shan and Malcolm are carrying on its commitment to live music."
