Father and son actors on stage in Colne

A FATHER-and-son act from Britain’s most famous street are set to take to the stage at Colne Muni next month.
Charlie Lawson and Nick Cochrane, veterans of Coronation Street, will be at the Albert Road venue on Thursday, November 15. The pair played fiery Irish dad Jim McDonald and his studious son Andy for several years on the Weatherfield cobbles.
Together the actors are behind Tales from the Street, a look back at their time on The Street and their life since. Lawson’s other credits include the medical series Doctors, 80s comedy Bread and The Bill.
