Phone theft rise

Mobile phone thefts have made up 53 per cent of all street crime in Croydon since the beginning of December, taking into account other types of mugging and assaults. A Croydon police spokesman said
there have been 75 thefts of mobile phones since December 1, and the type of phone stolen most frequently is the Nokia 3210.
