I'm A Celebrity Day 16: Carly's "worst two weeks" of her life

Carly Zucker said appearing on I'm A Celebrity... was "the worst two weeks" of her life.

The fitness trainer - who is engaged to footballer Joe Cole - admitted that although she made some close friends on the show, it was nothing like she had anticipated when she agreed to appear.

Carly said: "I've made some fantastic friends in there - but it was the worst two weeks of my life.

"I found it difficult not being able to see or speak to Joe and the boredom really got to me.

"I'm not afraid of hard work but it was the toughest thing I've ever done. The weather was bad.

"There was mud everywhere. Often I was in wet clothes and freezing. Every day got harder.

"It wasn't what I expected at all."

Despite struggling to cope in camp, Carly says she would never have quit because she didn't want to let down the Alzheimer's Research Forum, the charity she was raising money for by appearing on the show.

She told the Daily Mirror: "I was so miserable, upset, lethargic and hungry.

"I hated it for the last few days on the show but I didn't want to let the charity down."
