SHOPPERS at a Blackburn store were treated to a performance from one of the stars of BBC’s hit singing show The Voice.

David Julien gave a performance at TK Maxx in Blackburn as part of a charity fundraising day for Cancer Research taking place at the store in Towns Moor Retail Park.

David, 23, is one of 20 who have made it through to the live finals of the BBC One talent show.

On the programme he won through after triumphing in a battle against fellow contestant John James Newman, where they sang the Stereophonics hit Dakota.

He is mentored on the show by The Script frontman, Danny O’Donoghue.

Other judges on the programme are Jessie J, veteran singer Tom Jones and Will.I.Am.
