Relationships and communication breakdowns underpin the themes of Stage Two Downham’s spring production – Alan Ayckbourn’s series of five short plays Confusions, at the village hall on Wednesday to Saturday, April 2 to 5, 7.30pm.
This year is the group’s 25th anniversary, with the play providing a showcase of its members’ talents.
Audiences will meet a stay-at-home mum whose life has been taken over by children, a husband away on business trying to chat up women, and a village fête where everything that can go wrong does.
Tickets cost £6 from 01200 425566 or 01200 423301. A meal deal is being offered at The Assheton Arms – costing £22 for two courses and a play ticket, call 01200 441227.
