It was one of the ultimate TV shows for teenagers in the 1990s, but now the Sweet Valley High twins are all grown up.

Brittany and Cynthia Daniel played Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield respectively on the hit US series from 1994 until 1997, and were known for their all-American girl good looks and sunny disposition.

And the two actresses – who turned 40 in March – have barely aged a day since then, with both of them looking almost the same as they did 20 years ago.

Still rocking matching blonde locks, the identical twins share pictures of their global travels on their joint Instagram page, on which they call themselves The Twin Travelers.

And they’ve also given fans a glimpse of their bikini bodies across the social networking platform.

As well as posting new snaps, they also take their fans back in time as they share throwback shots from their younger days.

Children of the 1990s who watched the series – based on Francine Pascal’s books – will remember the twins for their differing personalities as they attended the high school in the fictional town of Sweet Valley, California.

Jessica, played by Brittany, was the more wild of the sisters, focusing on fashion and boys and with a bit of a cool girl reputation.

Cynthia took on the role of Elizabeth, the sweeter and friendlier Wakefield twin.

After the show ended in 1997, Brittany continued acting and scored roles in That ’80s Show and other TV series and films, and recently appeared in Black-ish.

Cynthia appeared in a single episode of That ’80s Show with her sister but seems to have taken a step back from acting.
