Robbie Williams said he would love to join Gary Barlow on The X Factor, but added that his tour dates clashed with auditions
Robbie Williams has said he'd love to join Gary Barlow on The X Factor - but he doesn't think it will work.
The Take That stars have been tipped as a "dream team" for this year's panel, which will reportedly see Tulisa Contostavlos axed from the line-up and Mel B brought in as a new judge.
Now Robbie has told BBC London: "We've looked at the dates and it did perk my interest and it would be great if Gary was on it and I was on it.
"But I've got a tour to do and the audition dates run through my tour, I just can't do it. It did have my interest for a morning."
The Candy singer joked that if Simon Cowell could bring his dog Spencer over on his private plane - so he didn't have to go in the hold - he'd join the panel.
."If he (Simon) can bring Spencer here and take him back for us after the tour than we'll think about it," he said.
