Aston Merrygold has revealed that he would like a JLS reality TV show, like The Saturdays and The Wanted.

Both British groups have signed US deals for their fly-on-the-wall documentaries with cameras following them as they pursue their music careers in the States.

Aston, who is part of JLS alongside JB Gill, Oritse Williams and Marvin Humes, said: "I'd never say no to that. The girls have done absolutely amazing over there. From the feedback I've heard, everyone's hyping and raving about the show."

But he admitted that the group are too busy in the UK to focus on Stateside success right now. They have launched their second fragrance Love, while the 25-year-old is a judge on Sky1's dance show Got To Dance.

"If you want to hit that head on, you have to do what The Saturdays and One Direction have done. You have to head out there for six weeks and really commit and put the hard work into it," he said.

"Both of them have done amazing. They've really honed in on using that Britishness and put their mark on there, so they've opened the doors for everyone even more so. Adele, then the boys, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J and Tinie Tempah - it's a British invasion.

"We would love that, but we're manic over here other than anywhere else. If we do get the time, then it would be great to. But for us, it's about maintenance and keeping what we have to the highest level," he added.

:: Got To Dance is on Sky1 HD on Sunday nights at 6pm, with the finale on March 17. Got To Dance: Auditions Uncut, with extra footage from the show, airs throughout the week.
