Glee's Jane Lynch has said she hopes Anne Hathaway will be the next celebrity to make an appearance on the show.
Anne scooped a best supporting actress Oscar for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables and Jane hopes this could prompt the actress to accept a much-coveted cameo.
Speaking at the Elton John Aids Foundation Oscar viewing party, Jane - who plays Sue Sylvester - said: "She's already said she wants to be Chris Colfer's lesbian aunt, I don't know why we didn't take her up on that.
"Now she's too much of a star."
Asked if the success of the musical could prompt a special Les Mis-themed episode of the hit show, Jane said: "That sounds like a great idea."
Anne would be following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson, who have previously guest-starred on Glee.
