When The ONE show first appeared on our screens it was given so much hype it was almost inevitable that it couldn't live up to expectations.

"A new Nationwide" was how the Beeb's publicity machine had it - immediately causing total confusion among the under 35s who had no recollection of Frank Bough and Sue Lawley bringing us tales of skateboarding squirrels and a man who lived in a shed.
But under the stewardship of the excellent Adrian Chiles, this magazine-style show has developed an identity of its own.
Much of the success is down to West Brom's second most famous supporter (after Frank Skinner).
He's not afraid to show his feelings when something is patently ridiculous - nor is he afraid to ask the questions that the average sofa-dweller has in their heads.
Even the idea of celebrity' reporters is growing on my although I find Dominic Littlewood far too sure of himself.
The only thing I'm still not convinced by is co-presenter Christine Bleakley, She may look like a model but can you actually understand what she's going on about?
