ONE of the great, unheralded delights on TV at the moment has to be the way Kevin McLeod presents Grand Designs.
His manner is that of a vicar approaching a parishioner accused of stealing from the collection.
While would-be home builders are full of enthusiasm, there's Kevin hanging around like a harbinger of doom, shaking his head at the schemes taking shape before his eyes.

In recent weeks poor old Kevin has been left short changed as developments have, by-and-large, run smoothly, budgets haven't overrun massively and even the finished projects have been perfectly acceptable, although last week's white box was far too clinical for me.
But last night all the elements that make Grand Designs such a great watch returned.
We had a barking mad couple who decided they wanted to create a Gothic monstrosity - a sort of Addams Family meets Footballers Wives - complete with gargoyles.
Better still, they decided to manage the project themselves, in spite of having no real experience and their budget went haywire as they racked up a debt the size of a small South American republic.
Good old Kevin could hardly contain his enthusiasm, giving him the chance to do his full-on' designer bit.
I know it's unlikely but why does he never get nominated for a TV award?
