REAL ale drinkers had barrels of fun at the sixth Clitheroe Beer Festival.
Restaurateur Paul Heathcote got proceedings under way on Friday at the St Mary’s Centre.
Hundreds of people sampled ales from 53 breweries, including Thwaites, Moorhouse’s, Bowland Breweries and Blue Buzzard.
Festival organisers also stocked ale that was in production in 1971 to toast CAMRA’s 40th anniversary.
