BUSKERS and street performers took over Accrington town centre’s streets to mark the end of an arts project.
The public stopped and watched as Accrington Alive got underway on Saturday, with a display of talent from buskers, magicians and street performers.
Accrington Alive brought the Liberating Empty Terrain arts project to an end, after its launch in August.
Other projects included the creation of an arts map of Accrington including ‘favourite places’, the Animated Accy film, which received 3,000 YouTube hits, and ‘flash mob’ spontaneous dancing in Accrington town centre streets.
