DELICACIES from ostrich meat to locally-brewed ale were on offer at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel yesterday.
The 700-year-old Clayton-le-Moors hotel hosted a food and drink festival, with 36 stalls selling a range of local produce.
Matthew Williamson, the joint organiser, who works at the hotel, said: “We have had hundreds of people calling in to visit the event – word has really spread.
“We are delighted.”
