SEGA Superstar Tennis (Wii, £39.99)
There's a spooky Virtua Tennis feel to this arcadey tennis title that rolls out SEGA's bedraggled superstars such as Sonic and Ulala from Space Channel 5, which makes playing this game a pretty surreal experience.
While there have been some super-shots added to gameplay, the rules of tennis haven't been twisted sufficiently to refresh the sport in line with the crazy characters that are now playing on court.
That said, Virtua Tennis is a cracking game, and Superstar Tennis benefits from the advantages of using similar game mechanics. Not quite an ace, but worth dusting down your racket for.
