Review: Pokepark 2: Wonders Beyond, Wii, £32.99

That little Pikachu fella may be getting a little long in the tooth now, but he’s still capable of bounding around an all-new park trying to save his little penguin friend Piplup and an eclectic collection of other Pokemon along the way.

Wonders Beyond offers up five game areas within Wish Park to explore, which may seem a little bit of short-changing at the start, but there’s actually plenty for younger gamers to root around in, including the multiple mini-games that make for enjoyable multiplayer fun once unlocked.

The Pokemon battles themselves are more button mashing than strategically structured but, again, remember who this game is aimed at. It is a cute cartoon out.
