The first Scribblenauts title on DS was a jaw-dropping execution of ‘open world’ puzzle gaming, where only your imagination could limit the different ways of lead character Maxwell collecting the elusive ‘Starites’ on each level.
On iPhone, Maxwell returns to tackle a collection of challenges from the original, its DS sequel and a handful of Apple-exclusive levels, too.
The concept remains just as incredible and it's amazing to see just how wide the game’s vocabulary stretches with your more outlandish nouns and adjectives that seem best placed for completing a level in the weirdest way possible.
Unfortunately, the challenges themselves are often far too basic.
