FROM the earliest of Carnforth's records up until modern day, Peter Wood manages to conjure up a detailed picture of the north Lancashire town.
His 52-page paperback defies convention by filling the first half of the book with a description of Carnforth's landmarks while decking out the second with photographs.
Definitely worth a read for locals or anyone interested in visiting.
