Review: The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings, Xbox 360
An incredible gaming quest finally finds its way on to Xbox 360 after proving to be a sizzling success as a mature RPG experience on PC.
Events follow swiftly after the first Witcher title, and you’re tossed straight back into Geralt of Rivia’s mysterious world of king killings, peasant uprisings and everything in between.
The depth of quests here is incredible and the title has made an admirable transition to the console world, with simply beautiful graphics depicting a world to die for in this vast virtual universe.
Combat is an acquired taste where you’ll have to carefully suss out your enemy’s strengths and weaknesses before flying into battle, but the rewards for a tactical approach are well worth it.
The Witcher 2 continues to pull no punches in being a difficult, adult RPG title, but if that’s what floats your boat, this is still right up there with the best.
