The Far Cry franchise has delighted and frustrated in equal measure in its first two outings, but finally everything has come together for this third island expedition.
Here, you assume the role of Jason Brody, who is stranded on a mysterious tropical island, that turns out to be a savage paradise where anarchy and violence are the only sure thing.
Played out through a lush, expansive open-world environment, you can dictate how the story unfolds, from the battles you elect to fight to the allies or enemies you make along the way.
You’ll have an absolute blast slashing, sneaking, detonating and shooting your way across the island, with an almost infinite number of tactical approached to missions. Plus, this place so often throws up the unexpected to take you “off piste” and when the urge to explore is already at dangerously high levels, such is the beauty of the world before you, you’re in for an absolute tropical treat.
