Sam Faiers and Joey Essex were rumoured to be planning their own show
The Only Way Is Essex couple Sam Faiers and Joey Essex have brushed off rumours they are preparing for their own show.
The couple - who started dating after meeting on the second series of the ITV2 show - denied they are leaving TOWIE anytime soon, following reports they are planning a spin-off programme.
"I'm happy with my position on the show - I've had an amazing time but I'm sure it will come to an end soon, but not now," said Sam.
Sam - who has appeared on the award-winning show since its launch in October 2010 - admitted she has thought about leaving, like former co-stars Amy Childs, Mark Wright and Kirk Norcross.
"I am doing another series but sometimes you know, you do move on from things," she said.
"My manager and I have been discussing some things for the future, but at the moment, we're happy where we are at TOWIE. But there will be new characters and I've done so much, there's only so much you can give without playing over the same storylines or creating them."
Joey's manager added: "There is nothing official being discussed yet and there are no plans for Joey to go anywhere at the minute."
Sam - who has written her autobiography, Living Life The Essex Way, and launched her fashion boutique - would be open to doing another reality TV show like Strictly Come Dancing or I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
"Strictly would be amazing, the jungle would be really good fun, but we've only been in the public eye for just under two years so there's a lot of time to do all that kind of stuff," she added.
