Tickets for next year’s Glastonbury Festival have sold out in just over half an hour.

Thousands of music fans were left disappointed after the £228 tickets were snapped up in just 32 minutes.

Emily Eavis, daughter of Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis and co-organiser of the festival, tweeted:

The tickets went on sale at 9am and just over half-an-hour later See tickets, the company selling the sought-after passes, sent a message on Twitter announcing they were sold out.

The 120,000 tickets were bought up even before the festival line-up has been announced, but there are rumours Adele and Coldplay could headline next year.

Foo Fighters, who had to drop out of headlining this year because front man Dave Grohl broke his leg, are also favourites to headline at odds of 6/1 with William Hill.

Those lucky enough to purchase their tickets were pretty much on top of the world.

And those who didn’t are getting some major FOMO.

There were also a few others who, frankly, couldn’t care less.
