SQUEEZE, featuring Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford, are to play Manchester on November 27 as part of a major UK tour.
It's part of the first nationwide tour by the band, responsible for hits such as Cool for Cats and Up The Junction, in more than 10 years.
Over the course of 13 albums, Squeeze's ‘kitchen sink-drama’ style has drawn plaudits from fans on both sides of the Atlantic, and their influence is keenly felt today.
The likes of Lily Allen, Mark Ronson, Kasabian, Razorlight and The Feeling have all recognised the debt they owe to Squeeze’s music and way with words.
In March the site of one of Squeeze’s first ever gigs was commemorated with a plaque.
They will be supported by the Lightning Seeds.
