Preview: Paul Weller in Blackpool
THE Modfather Paul Weller has announced a Manchester gig on December 3 and a Blackpool gig on December 7 as part of his upcoming UK tour.
The former Jam and Style Council frontman was last year crowned NME’s ‘Godlike Genius’.
He symbolised a musical epoch which saw youngsters vrooming round on Vespa scooters sporting target T-shirts and feather-cut hairstyles.
* Paul Weller plays the Arena in Manchester on December 3 and the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool on December 7.
