THIRTY years on, re-live the sound of one of Manchester’s most influential bands at a special Late Shift tribute night at King George’s Hall, Blackburn, next month.

Transmission, who are devoted to recreating the atmosphere of a live Joy Division gig, return to Blackburn on Saturday, February 22. Fronted by the late Ian Curtis, Joy Division are widely acknowledged as one of the most influential of all post-punk band. After Curtis’ death the band the surviving members went on to form New Order.

Transmission will be supported by local bands Urban Empire and The Shade.
