There’s a corner of my living room,
Where Christmas used to be,
It held a glow of fairy lights,
Upon a majestic Christmas tree,
Reindeers, snowmen, Santas too,
Were stood around its base,
It brought the joy of Christmas time,
To a usually quieter place,
I enjoyed to look upon the star,
Placed so very high,
And remember the time of the holy birth,
It wasn’t hard to try,
It’s all gone away now,
And though sadness it may bring,
It’s only making way for
The sweet song of spring.
