A WORD-perfect version of Hollie Steel's Britain's Got Talent semi-final song is being released.

Little Hollie has recorded the song Edelweiss under her own record label BB5, named after her postcode.

The single will be released on March 29.

The Oakhill College pupil from Huncoat famously forgot the words to Edelweiss on the live show in May last year.

The youngster, who was part of the Basics Youth Theatre, Burnley, was reduced to tears and begged the show's producers to perform the song for a second time after mum Nina Steel joined her on stage to comfort her.

Hollie then produced an outstanding performance after being given another chance.

As well as the single, Hollie is also set to embark on a UK, Europe and American tour with her management team working to secure venues in Stuggart, New York, LA and Washington.

She plans to perform at a series of dates on a mini tour in Manchester on June 12, Exeter on June 19, Surrey on June 26 and Oswaldtwistle on July 3.

Nina said: "Although Hollie didn't receive the backing from music guru Simon Cowell or other major labels, she has been lucky enough to receive a significant sum for investment in her music from businesses in the USA and Europe.

"As a result Hollie has had her very own record label set up, enabling her to release her music across the world."

Edelweiss is taken from Hollie's upcoming album which is being released through Townsend Records, based in Great Harwood, and distributed to retail outlets through Universal Music.
