BOSSES at the Burnley Mechanics have pulled off a comic coup after being selected by comedian Dylan Moran for a warm-up gig.
The Irish star of Channel 4’s Black Books has chosen the Manchester Road venue to try out new material ahead of a European tour, which will be launched this spring.
The former Perrier Award winner is no stranger to East Lancashire, having taken Blackburn’s King George Hall by storm during his October 2008 This Is It tour.
