GIRL power will take over Blackburn Museum when the eighth annual Live at the Museum event is held next month.

Organiser Pete Eastwood has pulled off a major coup to secure headliner Jade Bird for the show on Thursday, May 24.

Jade, nominated for BBC Sound of 2018, last week played live on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in the States where she is currently on tour. Her pop country sound has got industry insiders tipping her to be one of the year’s big breakthrough acts and the Night at the Museum will probably be the last chance to see her perform in such an intimate setting.

Support on the night comes from Karima Francis who has supported the likes of Paul Simon, The Stereophonics and Amy Winehouse and has appeared on the Later with Jools Holland.

Molly Warburton is a singer/songwriter from Lancaster who is a regular featured artist on BBC Introducing for Radio Lancashire, and completes the line up.

Only a handful of tickets remain, available from www.facebook.com/nightatthemuseumlive or by contacting Pete at pedro555@btinternet.com or on 07866 545964.
