THE Jacksons are among a host of major names who will be appearing at the region’s largest heritage music festival this summer.

Rewind North will return to Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire from Friday, August 3 to Sunday, August 5 with the line-up a who’s who of Eighties’ chart toppers.

The event starts with Roachford headlining on the Friday night. Then on Saturday, the Jacksons will be joined by the likes of Mark Almond, Billy Ocean, Kim Appleby, The Undertones and the Fizz.

The final day sees OMD, Bonnie Tyler, Midge Ure, Heaven 17 and the Boomtown Rats taking to the stage among others.

This year the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Howard Jones, who will be performing on the Saturday, said: “I always look forward to playing the Rewind festivals. The fans give all the artists such a warm reception. I’ve seen so many brilliant performances over the years and I look forward to many more this year!”

Doctor of Doctor and the Medics will act as compere on the Saturday and Sunday.

He said: “The overwhelming feeling you get is one of togetherness with a unique energy and vibrancy that makes it very special to be part of.”
