HOLLYWOOD superstar Will Smith will team up with DJ Jazzy Jeff to headline a brand new festival heading to Blackpool over the August Bank Holiday.
The pair will be making their only UK appearance on the final night of the three-day event to be held at the Headland Arena on Blackpool Promenade.
Opening the Livewire Festival on Friday, August 25, will be The Jacksons who come to Blackpool as part of their 50th anniversary celebration world tour.
Then on the Saturday, Pete Waterman will introduce the Hit Factory Live featuring a number of Eighties' chart toppers including Jason Donovan, Pepsi and Shirley, Sam Fox, Sinitta and Go West.
Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff will be bring their hits to Blackpool on Sunday, August 27.
A festival spokesman said: “This is the first year, the Livewire Festival has come to the North West and we are thrilled to be launching this fabulous weekend of music with this new concert series at Blackpool’s Headlands Arena featuring The Jacksons, Jason Donovan and Will Smith. We can’t wait to bring them to Blackpool."
