THEY may be relatively new to audiences around the UK but Rogers Floyd are getting praise from some of the hardest-to-please music fans around.

The five-piece outfit with members from around the North West first began playing the music of Pink Floyd just over two years ago.

And on Saturday night East Lancashire Floyd fans will get the chance to see them in action at the Thwaites Empire Theatre, Blackburn.

Sound engineer Colin Scott, the band’s unofficial sixth member said: “The whole essence of the show is getting the sound spot on.

“We put on a complete Floyd show including all the lights and back projections and cover the classic Pink Floyd material including Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and Division Bell.

“We’re not trying to be Pink Floyd.”
