X FACTOR stars G4 are to play in Burnley as part of their first tour in seven years.

It’s been 10 years since G4 appeared on the TV show, in which they came second and went on to sign a £1.5 million deal with Sony Records.

Their debut album sold more than one million copies and went double platinum in the UK, selling over 245,000 copies in the first week alone and going on to be the fastest selling album of 2005.

In 2007, after three albums, more than two million album sales and five sell-out-tours, they decided to disband to follow individual interests but are set to tour again next year are undertaking their first UK tour in seven years with their visit to Burnley Mechanics planned scheduled for Aprril 18.

G4 members Jonathan Ansell, Mike Christie, Ben Thapa and Nick Ashby will perform a selection of songs they performed on the X Factor show and recorded on their albums, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Nessun Dorma, Circle of Life, Everybody Hurts, Miss You Nights and You’ll Never Walk Alone.
