A SURVEY conducted by a food magazine has found Ramsbottom is the seventh foodiest place in the UK.
Birmingham was been named the UK’s foodiest town, according to contemporary food magazine olive, with London coming fifth.
The food lover’s title scored UK towns on their culinary credentials and Britain’s second largest city pipped Ludlow, Melton Mowbray, Edinburgh and London to the top spot.
An expert panel of food writers awarded Ramsbottom the seventh spot after scoring it 29 out of a possible 50 marks.
