BRIDES to be can find everything they need to create their dream wedding, at the Lancashire Telegraph Wedding Fair this weekend.

Around 40 of the top suppliers in the North West will be showcasing what they have to offer, at Ewood Park, Blackburn, on Sunday.

The event will feature two catwalk shows by Anne Whittaker’s of Accrington, as well as information and stalls on photography, entertainment, jewellery, wedding cakes, stationery, bridal wear and mens wear.

Highlights include entertainment by wedding singers Matt Phillips and Gary Cowburn and readings by medium Christine Brown as well as advice on how best to wear your make-up on your special day.

Jack’s Kitchen restaurant will be dressed as a reception venue by Rebecca Jane Weddings, Ambience Venue Styling and Pendle Cake Company.

For youngsters, there will be a range of creative activities plus free goodie bags for the first 30 children.

Zoe Donoghue, regional promotions and events manager for the Lancashire Telegraph, said: “Ewood Park is a fantastic location for a wedding. We hold our very own business awards at the venue and service is always fantastic.

“This is the second year we have held our wedding show at Ewood. It will be a fantastic show and not one to be missed for any future brides or grooms.

The event takes place between 11am and 3pm, with catwalk shows starting at noon and 2pm.

The day is free to attend and there will also be ample free parking.
