The world gravy wrestling championships take place in Stacksteads on August 29.
Contestants must wrestle in the gravy for two minutes whilst being scored for audience applause and their different moves.
Gravy wrestling is now in its fifth year and raises funds for East Lancashire Hospice.
Food will be served throughout the day and there will also be an outside bar.
* The Fifth World Gravy Wrestling Championships take place at the Rose & Bowl, Newchurch Road, Stacksteads, Rossendale, on Monday, August 29 from 11am. Call the pub on 01706 879555 for details
