The Spider-Man console franchise took a turn for the worse last year when we were exposed to The Edge Of Time.
But here Spidey gets back to doing what he does best, as you take control of his powers with Manhattan as your playground.
Set briefly after the events of the new film, you’re tossed into free-roaming, web-slinging action as you try to protect the Big Apple from a host of significant threats.
Although only a single-player mode is available, the storyline, production values and, above all, controls make this the finest slice of acrobatic action we’ve had to date.
A series of Super Villains mean you’ll need to level up carefully and develop your combat options to suit your playing style, and you’ll have an absolute blast in the process.
Sumptuous super-hero action.
