Stars have lined the red carpet to mark the opening night of Bend It Like Beckham The Musical.
The stage production - which is based on the award-winning 2002 film - is directed by Gurinder Chadha, who wore a long red gown with a matching bolero featuring gold detailing to the event.
She was joined by a host of other celebrities including Dame Kelly Holmes, Twiggy and Leigh Lawson.
Comedian Omid Djalili and actress Indira Varma also attended the show's premiere at the Phoenix Theatre in London's Soho, along with actress Juliet Stevenson, who featured in the original film.
The musical sees football-crazy Jess, played by Natalie Dew, work around her strict family to play football with her friend Jules in a local women's team coached by Joe, played by Hollywood star Jamie Campbell-Bower.
Jess is faced with the choice of living up to family expectations of university, career and marriage, or following in the footsteps of her hero, David Beckham.
The music was composed by Howard Goodall, with lyrics by Charles Hart..
