Sachin Tendulkar will star as himself in a Bollywood biopic.
The film, directed by James Erskine will tell the story of Sachin’s rise to become one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket.
Tendulkar retired in November 2013 following a 24 years career. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award on his retirement.
The film, due to be released later this year promises “never-seen-before facets and footage.”
