Emergency appeals for the victims of the Gaza violence have been launched.

Road to Jannah is one charitable organisation which is aiming to contribute to the creation or support of a service that will continue to benefit individuals, families and societies.

Over 200 people have already died in Gaza since hostilities began eleven days ago.

The charity says hospitals are overwhelmed and fast running out of supplies whilst human rights organisations press international aid and donor groups to intervene and deliver urgent medical aid.

Adham Abu Salmia, Gaza's Ambulance and Emergency spokesman, has said the medical crisis is acute and near catastrophic.

The situation is dire as residents continue to observe the dawn-to-dusk fast for Ramadan.
